I use this under my moisturiser at night and have replaced my old Hyaluronic acid. I use it because I hope it's better than Hyaluronic acid. It does leave the skin tighter than my Inky list hyaluronic acid, so couldn't wear it on it's own. Also, if I use it with my moisturiser in the morning and use my BB cream it pills a bit so I now only use it at night. Other than that is goes on well, with a slight damp face and doesn't give any reaction, I even put it on my eyelids.

Our Phyaluronic acid ingredient, like hyaluronic acid, is a powerful humectant, meaning it draws water deep into the skin. When applied correctly, our skincare products boost hydration. However, because it also supports the skin’s extracellular matrix, it can create a firming or lifted sensation — which is sometimes misinterpreted as dryness. This phenomenon is recognised in dermatology as subjective skin tightness and can occur even when the skin is well-hydrated and the barrier is intact.
So in short, it is not unusual to experience this feeling of tightness, which our customers most often find to be firmness, not dryness, and a sign the product is doing its job. It sounds like you're doing all the right things - applying it to damp skin and following up with a moisturiser to lock in the moisture, so keep it up!
