Ocean acidity has increased by 25%. Acidified waters stop marine organsims forming shells (oysters, corals, pteropods) and mobilize toxic metals from coastal acid sulfate soils. Seaweed reverse this instantly.

Today, over 350,000 synthetic chemicals accumulate in ecosystems, disrupting endocrine, reproductive, and immune systems in wildlife and humans alike. But not in our seaweed.

So it may be confusing to link bees, orangutans, sharks and corals reef biodiversity to seaweed farming - but that is how earths systems work if we use it well.
