Seaweed & Health
Seaweed is one of the longest known foods used for human health and in medicine. Archeology sites from 13,000 years ago in the South Americas demonstrate how the first humans travelled over continents, with seaweed used to sustain them. Our own Australian first people likely used seaweed for longer than that. Ancient Chinese pharmacopoeia identified certain seaweed that could eliminate gut parasites. Now modern human clinical trials are showing how seaweed can contribute to eliminating some of our chronic modern world diseases.

Seaweed for your skin
Seaweed and seaweed extracts have been used on skin for 1000's of years, with the simple ambition of soothing and creating moisture on the skin.
However, these most ancient plants on the planet host a hugely diverse and evolved suite of molecules - most of which we can't even describe yet.
There are seaweeds molecules that support the foundational tissue structure of our skin, interact directly with our own cells to trigger biological functions, protect and repair from oxidation and stressors, as well as support a healthy skin microbiome.
Our mission is to unlock the secrets of seaweeds and a future of human skin health and repair that we can't even imagine yet.
Join us at the start of the journey and bring exclusive seaweed molecules into your daily routine with our PhycoDerm range of skin care products.
