How we formulated Nourish...

Selecting the right moisturizer is about knowing safe, established, plant-based ingredients and avoiding harmful additives. Our PhycoDerm Nourish features several key ingredients known to benefit skin.

  1. Shea Butter: Derived from the Shea Tree, this natural emollient reduces water loss and provides antioxidant benefits. Shea butter has been used for centuries and is one of the most sustainable and ancient sources of skin barrier ingredients.

  2. Phycuronic acid (SXRG84): Our exclusive, natural, seaweed extract shares similarities with our skin's hyaluronic acid, playing a vital role in skin cell growth, inflammation regulation, and collagen production. It also boasts exceptional hydration and antioxidant properties.

  3. Chamomile: Recognized for its antioxidants, Chamomile is known to soothe redness and has anti-inflammatory properties. While its specific effects in skincare are still being studied, its rich phenolic compounds and organic acids are believed to be essential.

  4. Rosemary Extracts: Rosemary oil offers astringent properties and can be beneficial for acne-prone skin due to its antimicrobial effects. Current research also suggests potential neurological support from Rosemary.

Our founder used Nourish on her skin grafts in recovery from a scalping injury with amazing results. Remember, wounded skin takes over 12 months for remodelling of the surface layers, so ongoing, long-term nourishing is important.

How to use

Place a small amount onto fingertips and massage gently into skin. Use daily on your face before sunscreen, or where ever your skin needs some moisture and extra care.

Excellent natural beauty product

I have used this moisturiser throughout chemotherapy and it has been so gentle on my sensitive skin. I use in conjunction with the face cleanser and I find both to be just as good( if not better) than the high end brand I used for years. Really love that it contains no nasty ingredients like parabens, sulphates or phthalates and is Australian made and owned.

Initial response to this product.

I’ve really only been using this product since Christmas, so it’s a bit too early to make any meaningful statements about it. However I like the feel of it on my skin . It applies easily and spreads without effort over more surface area than I’d have expected.

Nourish feels good!

Nourish is a lovely thick but fast absorbing cream that feels great on my skin. Also using it on a nasty scar on my elbow and it feels like it's helping.
