Product Information

Formulated with our skin-hugging, PhyaluronicTM Acid molecules from seaweed, Shield is pollution quenching and anti-oxidant rich to protect and repair. Zinc oxide offers physical and skin-friendly UV blocking and skin healing. Essential oils keep your skin feeling fresh and supple.

Sustainably made with carefully selected ingredients and packaging. Our products are not tested on animals (except human ones) and are all Made in Australia.

Ingredients

aqua (water), aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, zinc oxide, caprylic/capric triglyceride, cetearyl alcohol, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, xylorhamnoglycuronan (PhycoDerm®PhycoTide seaweed extract), ceteareth-20, phenoxyethanol, xanthan gum, allantoin, lavandula angustifolia, lavender oil, potassium sorbate, tocopheryl acetate, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil, chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower/leaf/stem extract, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, olea europaea (olive) leaf extract, dehydroacetic acid.

How to use

This unique formulation is ideal for daytime use, in small amounts, without any white residue or greasiness. Just rub a small amount over face after applying Nourish, Soothe or another moisturiser. Perfect for everyone; from babies bottoms, face protection, to the gentlemen's scalp and anywhere in between.

really good product

I like this a lot, it feels good on my skin and really seems to protect it from the elements. I use it on my face over the Nourish moisturiser - you don't need much.

Not moisturising at all. I think the zinc causes it to feel like a clay on your face.

Hi Tracey, thanks for your feedback and we are sorry that Shield was not up to your expectations. We choose to use a natural mineral sunscreen for Shield over the chemical alternatives which are often not great for human or planet health. Because of the zinc content, you only need to use a very small amount of Shield over another moisturiser, as it is not a daily moisturiser, it is a daily shield and should be used as such. If you're after a moisturiser, I'd recommend trying our Nourish or Soothe instead, and then applying just a small pea-sized amount of Shield on top of that in the daytime. I hope that you'll give Shield another try and please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!
